What a shame the 25ers rides were scrapped and replaced with slower chasers rides though with the same distance and terrain, it would be nice to bring some newbies along, though at the moment the club are not accommodating them.

Hi Rich, this has been cut and pasted from south wales cycling.
Rhigos roadworks! If you're planning on crossing the Rhigos this weekend, be careful. Large sections of the north side have been prepared ready for resurfacing works. Manholes have been raised and the surface has been removed. There are ramps, lumps and coarse surfaces. The road will be completely closed around the 30 also. My friend and I went down it today. And it's not the lovely sweeping fast sprint that it usually is. It's proper hazardous.

I'm still riding with my son and son in law at the moment Ben so won't be on a club ride for a bit, the guy I mentioned is going to build his speed and distance up before he turns up so you won't see him yet either.

Out of curiosity what happens if a newbie turns up on a Sunday who's maximum distance to date is 30 miles and is hoping to ride with the 25ers.
