I have to give some input on this topic.
We have one of the most prolific TT riders on our door step, ' John Pritchard National 25 - 50 champion and 25 comp record holder with a '48'. In his day there was no one stronger riding into head wind than Pritch. He has won more TTs than anyone I know. In 1975 we at PTW used to ride to Mumbles every Monday evening, John was home from the RAF I have never riden with anyone who could go that fast on the flat we were together from the Ford Factory it was like trying to come through off a motor bike. His advice would be invaluable for anyone wanting to break the hour. Oh I was in the winning team with Pritch as a school boy in 1970 with a 1-4-31.
