I've also had good customer service from Hope over the past 4 weeks.

My older Hope Vision 2 Battery, the older Hope Kit has a different connection on the cables, packed up and it was sent back to Hope as they were going to repair it... when using a newer battery (with new connection) with the older light the connection would pop off every now and then on rough roads.

Anyway, Hope seemed to replace the battery with a new one, which was great but it had the newer connection ~ So, I sent the light off and they replaced the cable for a newer type.

Both repairs were free of charge and both times the items were sent back to me by FedEx  :)

Do as Chris did, not like myself, and send back the complete package so they can do a full overhaul all at the same time.

Just having a second pair of handbuilts on Hope Hubs put on one of the bikes, hoping that I'll also great great customer service on them if something should ever happen.

Great customer service but questionable reliability!

My AYUP lights have been going strong for at least 4/5 years!

Guaranteed to have jinxed myself now.  :(

Says the man who was recommending his gatorskins a few weeks back to a puncture victim on a club run as being virtually puncture proof! :D

This weeks CW has good review of lights covering various types. I went for Lezyne Power Drive XL which I found for half the price stated in the review. Fed up with taking the batteries out of my Hope Vision to charge them and never quite knowing when they are going to run out on me! Feel like I've had my moneys worth out of the Hope light but usb charging (at work) is the way forward.

Mark, here is a link for the aero adapter for carbon forks as recommended by Shawn. I got mine from SJS Cycles but they no longer have these items in stock.

Bah. Finally lost patience with my Ogmore Team Issue Exposure Flare. Trying to twist the bloody light body to turn it on is not fun in cycling gloves, sweaty hands or when in a temper. The amount of times it would turn itself off mid ride was getting dangerous. I don't think they do that model anymore but I won't be bothering with them again.
