Some good news at last, the Club Kit order has finally been received, I picked it up on Friday.
I have now finished checking through the kit, all 79 items, and it will be reasy for collection at this coming Friday's Club night.
A few things to note;
Decca have been taken over by Bio-racer so it is branded Bio-racer and it is my understanding this the clothing comes from their clothing range - so there are some difference between this kit and the previous kit from Decca.
I think the kit is good quality - Bio-racer manufacture the kit for a number of the professional teams.
Some of the clothing is different and I have brought this to the attention of the UK distributor, Kassei. But My view is that this is something that we will just need to accept as the clothing now comes from a different clothing range. The long sleeve jerseys are plain in that they no longer have the Roubaix lining. The gilets are a wind protector body with a "perforated" back and no rear pocket. The winter jacket is now a much better cut - in my view - and has the traditional 3 pockets at the rear.
I also think there is more consistency in the sizing. My current short and long sleeve jerseys, bib shorts and bib tights are all medium. My jacket is also medium but is too big for me and my medium gilet also comes up slightly large. The new jacket and gilet in a medium are now a perfect fit for me and as I stated above I think the cut of the jacket is improved.
I think it was worth sharing this with you and hope you will all be happy with your new kit when you collect it from next Friday.
