240 riders and a stronger field than the UK National Champs for next weeks 25. Mark Rosser is our only rider in the main event ( which closed at a '54') and I am in the overflow event (which closed at at '58'!)

Borrowed rear wheel - Does anyone ever get a front wheel puncture? My 1st ever in a TT so cannot complain. Thanks to the 2 guys from Bournemouth and our Tim for the team effort in getting me a wheel. I returned the favour to the guy who leant me the wheel after by giving him a lift back to his car when he was in early stages of hyperthermia! I missed my start time but as I had hobbled to the start with the flat before my start time incurred no penalty. I think someone was trying to do me a favour with the puncture mind as I was rubbish today and conditions could only be described as foul. Great ride by Mark btw and a solid one from Steven too. Knowing Stevens time before starting was the only thing keeping me going from the turn!

Mine was a rear Mark. They seem much more common...and a bit more hassle to change too!
