A number of the chasers weren’t able to make the annual pilgrimage two weeks ago so we’ll have another attempt this Sunday.
Direct route out to Brynamman and over the Black Mountain to Bethlehem and photo call. Then across to Fairfach, no detour to Llandeilo, and on to Llandybie and Ammanford and Pontardawe and direct route home from there the way came. It is going to be around 96 miles, I’ll get the route up on Strava or Garmin before Sunday.
At least two cofffee stops, one in Pontardawe on the way out and possibly Ammanford on the way back. There are a few cafes in Pontardawe if we turn right at the lights instead of heading straight up the hill and Rich L did give me the name of a cafe in Ammanford which is escaping me for now.
Pace at the speed of the slowest, which may well be me, and no one to be dropped or left behind. See you all Sunday.
