Mixed group ride, Rob,Paul R, Paul N, Mark R, Karl, Carl and myself set of looking for some sun as it was a very chilly start to the ride...coldest of this winter so far. Headed out to Pencoed,Llantrisant, Groes faen, St Fagans, Lavenock and on to Barry Bados for cake stop at Romilies. On going inside we saw Harpo, the cafe was full so we sat outside still waiting for the sun to show. After refreshments we set of round Cardiff airport and down the coast road to follow the TT course. Mark dropped off at Wick with tired legs, that's what you get riding gravel bike with big chunky tires on a ride with a good turn of speed throughout. We turned off round the coast and we then lost the Karls (Carl) leaving the remainder to carry on around Ogmore. Paul R and I turned off to go home via Corntown and Rob and Paul N went onto Bridgend. Good mixed group ride with all riding well at a good winter speed. On getting back Mark Whats app'd and said next week hes bringing his road bike.
