I was there tonight to assist Nigel and it was the curse of Steven. No sign of any starters, but then John Aspell turned up and we persuaded him to start. Maybe some had been put off by the weather forecast? It was a case of showers to the left of me, thunderstorms to the right, there we were, stuck in the middle with John!
So it stayed dry and breezy (as per usual for Wick on a Thursday) and John who was trying out a new bike did 27:28.
Remember the event is open to all, it would be great if everybody had a go at least once this year. Once you record a time, the target can be to beat it next time out!
