Just 6 Pacers out today for the club ride,
Reece
Paul R
Mark R
H
Greg
and myself

Little cooler than the forecast but still warm enough. Set off on planned route upto the Bwlch going via Wyndham rather than Price Town clock. As joined the main road up the Bwlch Mark R turned off to get back home. The 5 of us then continued up the Bwlch with Paul and H racing for the polka dot jersey. Next to leave the group was H at the Maesteg turning as he had to get back home. This then left the mallorca 4 muppets to continue on the chosen route. The trip down the Afan Valley we had a head wind so we all had to work hard into Port Talbot. Heading in to Mumbles we had a bit of a head wind and we seemed to catch all the lights on red. We got to the coffee stop and tea cakes seemed to be the choice of the day with us all having one, and very nice too. At this point the sun decided to show itself and the temperature started to rise. The trip back was more of a cross wind but all worked hard to keep the speed up but again we had to battle the red lights. Worked well together along harbor way and on to Margham. At this point Reece and Greg decided to go straight on leaving just myself and Paul to do the Porthcawl loop. Legs getting tired on 3 steps hill but we pushed on taking the dipping bridge road to Ewenny and back home via Fords.

Good ride out with all taking turns on the front, thanks all for your company today and see you all next week.
