Weather looks to be dry and chilly, depending on who turns up we will head West, that’s the opposite to East. James asked last week if we stop for a coffee during club rides, tomorrow we will andremember to bring something to eat on the way. 75 minutes is about the limit for not drinking and eating while riding, not for everyone but most. Just because it’s cold doesn’t mean you don’t need to take on some liquid, when you get thirsty its too late. See you all in the morning

Big turnout today, had to put plan F into action. Planned a Westerly and did a Westerly. Jonathan, Hannah, Jo, Roy2, Nick R, Geoff, me and two new comers Bev and Rhonda started west with the intention of doing the RR2 due to the nice weather. Bev and Rhonda would follow the gang until dropped then I would take them somewhere senceable with the promise of a nice cup of coffee. We waved bye bye to the main group at the bottom of Coity rd. The three of us then wandered through Laleston, Kenfig on to the promised cup of real tasty coffee and chocolate even at Parc Slip. Then back to Bridgend via Pen y Cae bends.

Great ride today, the rest of us carried on through Aberkenfig and on to Margam and Taibach. Quick culture stop for those who hadn't seen the Banksy, then onward to the Bwlch stopping at Afan for a coffee. As soon as we started to climb the girls pulled away leaving the rest of us in their dust, great riding from Hannah and Jo. All back together we descended via Llangeinor and back to Bridgend. Also well done to Ron for selflessly looking after the newcomers.

Excellent ride today - new country for myself - amazing landscape and some stunning vistas, cultural interlude, and a nice conversational pace over the Bwlch. For myself 60 miles door to door, including a final spin home to Llantwit with Roy for company. Here's to next time, cheers!

Always ready for a slow ride, weather was to good not to do the RR2 circuit glad you all enjoyed it.
