Mid-week Ride - Tuesday 29 November
« on: November 28, 2016, 01:06:51 PM »
Tom is offline this week so he asked me to post about tomorrow's mid-week jaunt around the Vale. Usual rules apply; meet at the B&Q roundabout at 0945 (make sure you're at the correct lampost ;D), wear anything you like as long as it's yellow, distance around 37.265 miles, coffee and lightly toasted fruit loaf at Cafe Velo, speed variable but between 15.12 and 15.13 mph average! Oh, the Sun will be shining too!  8). Hope to see you there.

A very precise post Mark I think I know the correct lamppost and should be there between 09.45 and 09.47 depending on how many ref traffic lights I encounter !

I'm out very early tomorrow as I have to be home by 11am so sadly will not be able to join you. I am out on Friday if anyone else is around.

An enjoyable ride yesterday in glorious sunshine 8). The lanes were dry and mostly free of debris so we stuck to the usual mid-week route around the Vale with a coffee in Café Velo. That said it would probably take a Zombie Apocalypse to make us change the mid-week route, though due to the age of most of the group we wouldn't notice anyway (and no self respecting Zombie would bother us)! Out yesterday were:

Tom
Roy Richards
Mal
Si Bird (Pacers beware)
Steve (Zorro) Chapman
Mark P

Tom should be back online soon, so he will post the next weekday ride.
