The story so far......

All going well - We have enough marshals and helpers - thank you

OVW members who have entered the event have also volunteered to marshal after their ride - Thank you.  You might want to bring a chair to have a sit down  ;)

The event closes on the 12th April, after which we will know how many riders have entered and therefore I can set the field, and start sheets will be sent out .

Emails will be sent to all marshals with information and guidance.  Lead marshals will arrange to collect equipment and to ensure their chosen marshals available.

Thanks again
Teresa

lots of banter on the TT forum about the Carl Roach TT on Sunday including this little bit about the "Speed" down the back, perhaps on for Steven and young Keith to think about. https://traumfahrrad.com/2012/09/09/r253l-the-welsh-course-comp-record-for-hutchinson/   PS it's Johns Davies' bike. Have a nice ride folks. 70 mph !!

Update meeting / safety briefing next Friday (22nd April)

Signs / marshal jackets / flags / catering bits etc have been collected from the lock up.

I will have some marshal jackets and trousers at the club if anyone wants to collect theirs tomorrow.

Please try to attend club so everyone is as happy and informed as they can be about their role in the event.

.....................and it is not too late to put yourself forward to help out

Thank you

Marshalls need to bring along a pair of pliers for cutting the cable ties when taking the signs down. I have three Hi Vis jackets for the turn marshalls.

Great to see lots of people at the meeting tonight - thanks

Looking forward to a successful event.

Looks like it will be a bright but chilly start so make sure you bring warm clothing and a hot drink for marshalling

See you all bright and early on Sunday morning  8)

If someone is passing the "Turn" at Aberdulais after 7.30 please pick up a cake to take to HQ to feed the riders. If anyone has a start sheet they can drop at the turn it would be nice.Ta

Once again, there are not enough 'thank yous' to thank everyone for their help at the Carl Roach event today.

So here is a big one instead

THANK YOU

The team work in the Ogmore Valley Wheelers is second to none.  We always put on a good event, and this year was no exception.
