I am currently Track Secretary and I am unlikely to be at the Club AGM next Friday.
I have told Teresa Deeley that I will stand to be re-elected unless someone else would like the job in which case I will stand down.
Although I am aware that a few people in the Club have track Accreditation I think it is only Jonathan Saunders who has recently qualified and who may still be active.
Since renewing my interest in competing a few months ago I have considered popping along to the Vets Drop-in sessions on a Friday but fear the standard will be too high for a 69 year old. I may give it a try.
I have been advising new members to contact Newport Track direct to find out how to get a taster session since doing it third hand never seems to get an adequate response and also the track sessions I booked for the Club a few years ago were cancelled due to lack of interest from a sufficient number of members.
Is there a club member who would like to take it from here ?

Over the next couple of months I'm thinking of making regular trips to Newport, I'm limited to what I'll be able to do at the moment but thinking of doing a 7am session on Wednesday and the late one on Monday I think it's 8pm. Feel free to join me if you can hopefully I will progress and more sessions will become available.
