Weather worse than forecast. Wet and VERY windy, worst I've been out since Armageddon day, Mallorca 2013.

So v. happy with 3:06 for 50 miles.

Chapeau to anybody who completed the 75 and 100 mile options

what an introduction to my first sportive! brutal is the only way i could have described it! did the 75, rode with richard to the 100mile cut of point,fair play to richard great effort to do the 100

Yes brutal, the climbing and the weather conditions!! Thanks Harpo for dragging me round to Newport. 109 miles for me to be precise. Hoping for better weather next year!! And we'll all have to do the 100 next year.
