« on: September 14, 2013, 01:08:38 PM »
Weather could be very wet and windy tomorrow. I think the Saturday morning route 35-40 miles. Rain capes and overshoes at the ready.See you tomorrow 9am.

Great turnout this morning 14 ( hope haven't missed anyone), considering the doom and gloom forecast for the late morning. Both Pacers and Amblers joined forces until Ogmore by Sea when the group split. We ran into the Pacers at the Velo Cafe, and the promised to chase us down.

Managed to get to Norman's cafe without getting caught. Nice cuppa, but as we left the sky opened up.

33 dry miles for me 10 very wet

Same time next week,

Tom

Well planned route Paul-only gloomy side confirmation that Norman's (Downs)closing in 2 weeks.
I'm away for the next 2 Sundays so I'll see you in the depths of Winter!(That's early October)

Take with one hand and give with the other, discovered a fab new cafe in Llantwit today right next to Forza, sells some pretty obscene cakes! We'll have to restructure club runs now.

Tom - if you miss the tea and coffee there you could always submerge a mug in your nearest drain!

I know it had nostalgic value.
