« on: September 19, 2014, 04:57:11 AM »
As you all probably know its the hill climb on Sunday. So we will ride to the Hill Climb, then Continue on with the club run. I would suggest everyone rides this as its a great climb and a chance to measure yourself against your club mates.

Brackla - Church Acre - Coity - Bryncethin - Llangeinor - Hill Climb

Part 2 - Llangeinor Mountain - Blackmill - Bryncethin - Coity - Coychurch - Treoes - Llangan - Graig Penllyn - City - Welsh St Donnats - A48 - Llantrithyd - Flemingstone - St Athan - Llanwit Major Cafe stop at the Velo and home.

Don't forget although the speed of the Amblers has increased, it still remains we ride at the pace of the slowest rider. Estimated pace is 15mph

Should be around 50 mile weather looks ok see you 9am you Sunday

Fantastic turn out today at Brackla. Estimated 25, great if you think a few people rode over direct. I think about 20 took part. It was great to be second to set off. I enjoyed seeing most gurning towards the finish line. We headed to the Velo Cafe and Andrew S had a puncture. After the puncture and hill climb time was ticking.

We split into two groups. Faster and not so fast a headed direct to the Velo. I clocked up 42 miles, in the September sunshine.

Thanks to Norman, Lynne, Mary, Alan, Tim and Thersa for Organising the Hill Climb, and making sure it ran so smoothly.
