Handicap 10 championship

This event is to be held on Thursday 28th August and must be entered for. We will need your fastest open 10 time, if you have ridden one. Otherwise your fastest midweek 10 time. Please let me know asap,so that Norman has time to do the handicapping. For those of you who have not ridden an event such as this,it means that you are given a time allowance according to your own times and that of the scratch man. In other words, even the slowest of riders is in with a chance of winning the event. They will then be presented with a fantastic cup at the club dinner to hold onto for one year. Closing date to receive entries is Monday 25th August. You should know by now where to e mail me or give us your entries at next weeks midweek or at the clubroom. Cheers. Lynne.

No problem Lance, as long as we know that you haven,t raced before and therefore have no time. This is not a problem, it just gives Norman an idea of what time allowance to give you and where to place you in the field. Look forward to seeing you on Thursday. Remember to be there in time to sign on, which closes at 6.45. Cheers.

  We have 13 riders now signed up for the handicap event. Thanks to you all for sending info. Not being clairvoyant we do not know how many other participants will turn up to race after the organised event. Therefore any help, starters, signing on, Levies, numbers etc., would be very much appreciated. In anticipation, cheers.  Lynne.

Hi Ron Yes you can ride. After the handicap event has gone off. Hello Kevin, Have checked with Norman as the event has officialy closed. He says you can ride, but you will probably be last man off, as the field has already been set. See you all tonight. Still looking forward to receiving some help as well.
