I plan to be out this Sunday and will post a ride in the next day or so. Weather not looking great presently, hopefully it improved.

Out to Neath and up the Neath Valley through Crynant to Ystradgynlais and back down the Swansea Valley to Ystalyfera and Pontardawe, coffee back in Neath. Could head out through Porthcawl, Kenfig and Margam to Harbour Way and Briton Ferry before loop up top Ystradgynlais and then most direct route home from Neath.

Mixed ride today with seven of us out from the start, me, Rich L, Scott, Mark R, Ben, Nigel and Paul and we picked up Mark J en route in Laleston made eight. Blustery conditions this morning with a strong head wind on the way out. We managed to avoid any of the forecast showers thankfully and stayed dry for the whole ride and actually saw some blue sky and sun into Neath. Followed the route as planned and rode well as a tight group all the way round. Tough through Porthcawl and along the coast into the wind and the long drag up from Neath to Ystradgynlais. Scott was on-call and took a call to have to go in while we were on a harbour way and Mark peeled off at Neath as he had planned to do from quite early in the ride. Made a call to have an earlier coffee stop than Neath stopping in Pontardawe, tidy cafe on the Main Street with a good choice of cake and extra coffee thrown in for good measure. And then the brisk ride for home, direct route home with everyone contributing, and one particularly long turn from Mark J from Pontardawe all the way to Neath.
Enjoyed that, thanks everyone, I should be out again next Sunday.
