Only two of us out today, Scott and myself.
Grey skies as we set off, racing the Pacers/Chasers to the climb up Bryn. As one of them had a mechanical think we got there first. Scott set a good pace up the Llynfi valley with me hanging on up some of the little rises. Felt a bit cheeky when I then 'got the jump' on Scott and went hard on the first section of the climb up to Maesteg Golf Club, fully expecting him to come sailing past at some point. Resolutely kept my head down, kept pushing the pedals and managed to 'stay away'. Obviously feeling the benefits of the earlier tow and having a rest day Saturday.

Brief shower of cold stinging rain on the descent to Bryn but stayed dry the rest of the ride. Kept the pace going via Tybach, Margam, Kenfig Nature reserve
Quick coffee stop in Porthcawl and home via 3 steps hill.
See you next week
