Hi Richard

Myself and Carl might join you this weekend. If we get dropped, no sweat. We will either catch you up later, meet you at the café, or finish the ride at a lower pace👍

Six of us set out this morning, me, Rich L, Karl, Mark, Scott and Carl. Weather better than forecast staying dry all morning albeit quite windy. Unfortunately an early mechanical put paid to Mark’s ride as we were going through Laleston. The rest of us worked well together with long strong turns on the from from both Scott and Carl who both rode really well today. All the climbing on the way out with the sharp climb out of Pontrhydefen, the drag through Skewen and the undulating roads through WinchWen. And on to the coffee stop in Swansea Marina and good coffee and cakes at Cafe Freso. The Marina was really busy with a vintage car rally that we had to navigate but better than gatecrashing the national 10k in Caerphilly. And then the ride home into the head wind which was really tough but I think we rode really well as a group, chain ganging all the way and taking one minute turns on the front into the wind.  Thanks all enjoyed that today. I’m not able to ride next Sunday so will see you all in two weeks.

Cheers Richard, Karl, Rich, and Mark for making us feel welcome today. Chain-ganging through that wind was a good experience and certainly better each man for himself!

See you all soon👍🏼👍🏼
