Out to Port Talbot, up and down the Afan Valley, Llandarcy, Neath and back, 52 miles , 9.30 start as we're in the last week of January

Largely flat ride today apart from an initial climb of the Fountain Hill up to Cefn Cribwr, after that it was a swift pace to Port Talbot and up the Afan Valley where we turned at Pontrhydyfen to come back down the valley. Then through Baglan, over the Ferry Bridge past Amazon to Llandarcy and a coffee in Costa in Neath.
Back along Harbour Way into the wind and the a detour down to Porthcawl for Reece to get his 100k Strava badge. Sadly I fell short of the 100k and my ride came to an abrupt end at Kenfig Pool leaving Karl and Reece to finish the ride alone with Tony having decided wisely to follow the published route.
