below is an extract from email sent to me as club secretary ( i get loads of these) just sharing at the moment I have not replied.... I have removed his name and contact details for now.
My name is xxxxxxxx and I am the president of the twinning committee of Hechtel-Eksel in Belgium.
Our village is situated in Flemish part in the North East of Belgium, close to the Dutch and German border.
Since September 2014 there is a Friendship Charter between Hechtel-Eksel and Bridgend.
We had already some twinning activities. In April 2018 we visited Bridgend and surroundings with our twinning committee and citizen of Hechtel-Eksel.
Now we would like to invite your club "The Ogmore Valley Wheelers " to visit Hechtel-Eksel.
In our region we have beautiful safe cycling pads outside in the villages in the countryside. Have a look on the website:

The meaning that you come over with members of your club is to get to know Hechtel-Eksel and make contact with our citizen who have the same passion conerning
cycling. We will be your hosts and responsable for your logies. In our village we have also a cycling club who can join you during the cycling tour you will making.
A visit goes mostly from Friday evening till Monday morning.
For example on Saturday you will make a tour and on Sunday, we (twinning committee) take you out on tour to visit nice places in the neighbourhood.
