Riding Saturday as it is Wales Australia on Saturday morning and as it happens the weather is looking much better on Saturday than it is Sunday. 9am start from Physique in Brackla.
Aberdare loop anticlockwise so we'll have the benefit of the westerly on the way home from Neath. Out to Pontypridd and then up the western side of the valley to Aberdare, so initially taking the Ynysybwl road out of Ponty and then dropping on to the B4275 Abercynon/Aberdare Road. Coffee stop in Bradleys in Aberdare and then on to Hirwaun and Glynneath, down the valley on the Old Neath Road to Neath and direct route home from Neath.
Picking Chris Goodwin up on the way out at the McDonalds roundabout the other side of the Pontyclun junction.

Due to foreseen circumstances I'd forgotten I'd seen I won't be out, sadly. Have been watching everyone's turbo sessions (via Strava, nothing sinister) all week from the discomfort of my hotel, and really looking forward to getting out.

Road works in Abercynon last few times so can probably best to take
"Haydn's right turn" at Dominos and go up the A4054 (right hand side valley) and then drop down into Abercynon, take first right to join up with A4059.(misses out mega roundabout on A470).
Also misses out Mountain Ash (left hand side valley) where the road has been shut the last few times I have been through there.
This route is a nicer way into Aberdare.

Ok, sounds like a plan. Can you sort the weather out too? See you in the morning.
