Just the 4 amigos out today
Harpo
Steve Chapman
Paul Rosser
Nige
Looks like the wet and windy forecast kept some at home.We set of at 09:30 (Dec and Jan timing) heading out to Tondu and on to Maesteg then up the Bryn. Harpo and Paul racing up the Bryn closely followed by Steve with me following up at the rear a little back, Calf injury not helping but the whippets were off and running. The route then took us over to and down Cimla. Steve and I had a little break test on one of the roundabouts as car decided to turn late, (wish I had disc brakes!!!). Then on through Baglan Bay and on to Harbour way with all working hard and Harpo laughing as he looked at me flat out just keeping up. At Margam we turned off and went to Porthcawll via Cornelly and a lane that was flooded so a wash on the bottom brackets in dirty water. We got to Coffee and Co where I got the coffee and cakes in and was surprised when they said we don't take cash only card. After our rest and good chat we headed off towards Bridgend, the weather did get worse as the mist came in. Harpo and Steve went into bridgend via Park street and me and Paul back via the dipping Bridge, Corntown and Fords. Warm for the time of year good ride but a reminder to me that alot of work needed before  LBL in April. Thanks gents for the workout.
