With the Pacers and Chasers heading out in the same direction, there was some too-ING and fro-ING between the groups before it settled down after New Road.
From there on the Chasers consisted of:-
Chris Reed
Chris Goodwin
Richard L
Richard B
Roy
Dan
and myself.
We maintained a decent pace out through Margam, Harbour Road to Briton Ferry where my lack of fitness and a bad chest forced me to limp home.
Good day for it, if a little windy and cold. Hope to find some form over the next few weeks.
I'll leave other riders to add to the story as they see fit

Thanks Andy.
Enjoyable route today but tough into the wind and with a few climbs thrown in. The rest of us pressed on after you dropped off and followed your route. We lost Chris R on the climb out of Neath up to Rhos, he has been struggling with a cold too. Then headed across to Glais from Alltwen and back down to Skewen taking in the Drumau Road climb. And on to Costa in Neath for a well deserved coffee stop that Dan and Roy had been looking forward to from the time we had left Neath earlier. I'll get the coffee and cake next time Chris G. And home over Cimla, down the Afan Valley, Margam, and across from Kenfig Hill to Laleston and into Bridgend with long turns on the front from Chris G. Very windy all the way and struggle to remember when we had it on our backs.
