Gravel Saturdays !

Met up with Kieth who used to be a club member last time I was out, planning to do some gravel rides on a Saturday if weather is ok . You will be amazed whats on our doorstep and where  it takes you, with the added bonus of no cars :D . Anyone want to tag along  are more than welcome

No cars, that’s got to be worth a look. Are we talking road bikes with fat tyres or MTB with skinny tyres. I agree that we have some fantastic trails on our doorstep. Access to all the local forrestry trails are easy to find using the likes of Google map etc. All the local Forrest can be linked to form a good days ride with cafe stops.

Sounds good, i wouldn't mind changing the odd Sunday for a gravel ride on a Saturday. Has Keith bought a gravel bike or still smashing the trails with his mountain bike?

Keith has just bought a gravel bike, he was on his first ride on it when I met him! Road bikes will be fine as long as you can fit 28mm plus , disc brakes a needed bonus too
