As a good cyclist I try to use the cycle paths when possible, today was typical. Riding on the the new very expensive cycle path between Coychurch and Pencoed, a car came off the dual carriageway, across the cycle path in front of me, causing me to brake and take avoiding action. The young lady pulled into a house, so I had a bit of a chat. Usual excuse “ I looked but did not see you”. It did get a bit dark at midday today and I had my best Xmas tree outfit on and a rear light. So the question is whose right of way is it. Does anyone know, if we have to give way to “them” then cruising along as one does becomes very difficult. I was going to introduce my grandson to this cycle path, I don’t think so. This path was made at great expences for children to cycle safely to school in Pencoed. Another cunning plan Baldrick?
