Remainers - 18th March
« on: March 15, 2018, 11:07:55 AM »
Well my back wheel is repaired. My bike is silent. My cold has gone. So I'm out Sunday. Weather is looking better than it was earlier in the week. Still cold but according to the Beeb it should (I'm taking it with a pinch of salt) be dry. So how about we go and do Caerphilly, Maerdy, Black mountain then Rhigos, Bwlch and Llangeinor on the way home. We'll stop at Greggs next to Physiques for a coffee?

No?

Ok. Well how about Pencoed, Miskin, Peterston-Super-Ely, St Fagans (coffee stop) then back Tredodridge, Welsh St Donats, City, Llangan, Troes. 37 miles all together not too hilly. Roads seemed to be clear last time I rode most of them.

Hmmm. My weather app says snow too. But very light flurries. Bbc site seems clear still.

Weather reports are getting worse. Now an amber warning too. I think a duvet day maybe in order.....

But if the roads are clear and there's no moisture falling from the sky in any form I shall be out.

Are you all getting soft, next thing you will be going to Mallorca and eating tapas. It’s all conditioning for the Welsh “summer” even the brown murky liquid that arrives in a quart paper cup all helps to get us through to a sunny November. PS ask Tom what a quart is.

As the sky is falling today I think I shall stay inside.
