Hi all
Hope you don't me posting, but we are holding a Wildflower Ball in aid of Velindre on 11th March 2016 at Hensol Castle. On the evening, we are holding an auction to raise funds and this will be conducted by myself.
There are a number of lots availabler but I specifically thought some of you may be interested in the cycling jersey lots and thought some of you or your cycling contacts may be interested in bidding.
Lot 6
Mounted Yellow Jersey signed by Geraint Thomas & Chris Froome (kindly donated by Neil Downes of Forza Cycles, Llantwit Major; Team Sky signatures organised by Andrew N David Plumbing & Heating)
PLUS AS PART OF SINGLE LOT
GB Team Cycling Jersey signed by Becky James (kindly donated and signed by Becky James; organised by Dr Sean Williams and Dr Steffi Colyer of Bath University.
Anyone who wishes to bid beforehand, and is not going to the Ball, are welcome to forward me a bid (known as a proxy bid). This bid will be confidential between myself (in my professional capacity as auctioneer) and the Proxy bidder. For those who are unsure how the system works - if a proxy bidder bids £1000 and the nearest bid on the night is £600, and I am going up in £20s, they will secure the lot for £620.
If anyone wishes to make a proxy bid (or to see the full list of lots), they will need to contact me by email on philipthomas@hrt.uk.com
Please feel free to share the email with your contacts. Thank you in advance.
