Just a reminder that this weeks event is the Arthur Hopkin Memorial 2 up. Where at least one rider must be a veteran. This event is a qualifying event for aforementioned Trophy, to be awarded at the club dinner.

Does this mean that you cannot ride it in your own, only asking as I wouldn't want to slow anyone down.

What age is a veteran is it 40.

We are trying very hard to encourage everyone to participate as a 2 up. Last year it was just Sian Harries and myself that entered. No competition for us. We just had to finish to win the cup. As this is a memorial event for one of our past riders it would be a pity not to give it it's full respect. If you cannot find a partner, I don't think it would be a problem. But the whole purpose is to create more competition for this award. And yes a veteran is 40, Which only one person needs to be. But it doesn't exclude you if both in the team are 40 or over. Give it a try.

Because this is a championship event there are no points available this week. Back to normal next week.
