Pacers 16 April

Looking a bit dreary on Sunday. Simple Seven Sisters spin. Artisan coffee and patisserie at McDonalds. More interesting routes to come when the sun comes out.

Dreary report for a dreary route.

5 pacers out on a dreary Sunday morning. Paul, Nige, Mark, new-Pacer Ben [1], and me. The early pace out of Physiques' car-park was too much for Mark, who peeled off at the first roundabout.

Steady ride to Seven Sisters with everyone working together to give us an average speed closer to advertised Pacer pace than normal. New-Pacer Ben expending 20 watts more than needed with a rain jacket he'd fashioned from 3/4s of a Zeppelin. Gourmet treats at the American themed restaurant in Glynneath before trundling home to play guess who'll come second to Pogi in Amstel Gold. I suspect no one guessed right.

Most Pacers on holiday next week. I am unlikely to be out also. Check here for updates.

[1] The new-Pacer nomenclature will be in place until we get a newer Pacer.
