Social Sunday December 4th 9:30 START

Winter is 'officially' here and club runs will start at 9:30  through December and January. ( apart from special events like the annual sojourn to Bethlehem)

Weather looking cold but mostly dry on the weekend with an easterly wind, so will plan a route and post before the weekend.

Usual conditions apply, all welcome and we will ride to pace appropriate to the group with nobody left behind.

Out via Treoes, Welsh St Donats, Peterstone, climb up to Pentyrch, slight detour for coffee in Tongwynlais, home via Radyr, Groesfaen and Llanharan.

I don't think there is a cafe in Tong anymore. It is a Thai restaurant now.

There’s one in a little bike shop around the corner and Forest cafe, so hoping one or the other is open. Thanks, I’d noticed the other cafe had closed when I went through at the end of the summer

7 riders out today, Tammy, Scott, Carl, Tim, Richard and myself set off from Brackla and met Chris in the lanes.

Cold, grey, damp and mizzly but "Winter miles make summer smiles"

Not all days are good days but a bad day on the bike is still better than a good day on the sofa!! (or turbo trainer)

Bethlehem trip will be on next Sunday, weather permitting. If anybody needs a lift to Neath for the Chasers/Amblers ride let me know and I'll arrange to pick ypu up

Hi Andy, My social secretary (wife) has invited some friends over at the weekend and they are staying until Monday.

Unfortunately I am going to have to pass on the Bethlehem ride at the weekend. I didnt get your number at the weekend so hopefully you will pick up this post but I will message you on Facebook as well.
