Chasers 20 November
« on: November 18, 2022, 06:27:56 PM »
Hoping for met office weather and not BBC weather on Sunday, but with either there is a strong westerly forecast. Apologies for the old route, Resolven loop. This is 60 miles out via Cimla but I'm happy to go out and back on Harbour Way and through Briton Ferry which will take a few miles off and make it a bit quicker. Coffee stop in Neath on the way back.

Something gone haywire with Garmin Connect, can't find courses, at the moment.

Won't load Social ride or this one and nothing appearing in 'courses' on my PC either

Four of us out from the start this morning, me, Rich L, Mark R and Karl. I didn’t last too long, I was off the pace from the start and peeled off after Porthcawl for some solo miles.

4 down to 3 didn't last long when Mark peeled off at Margam Park to do some gravelling.
And in Tonna when a hooded Strongbow drinker stepped into the road without looking, both Karl and the man hit the deck with some force, I was left as last man standing.
Luckily Karl was able to continue and as we proceeded up the Neath valley we got royally soaked. Coffee in Costa in Neath dried us up a little and we were fortunate to have a tailwind home.
