Blustery day Sunday so we'll head out east and have a tail wind home.

Pencoed - Llanharan - Miskin - Groesfaen - St Fagans - Old Port Road to Wenvoe - St Andrews Major - Dinas Powys - Barry - Romilly Gardens - Porthkerry - Rhoose - East Aberthaw - St Athan - Eglwys Brewis - Boverton - Llantwit Major - St Donat's - Marcross - St Brides - Southerndown - Ogmore - Home

Around 55 miles with cafe stop in one of the cafes in Romilly, and if they are not open then Porthkerry Park

Five chasers out today, me, Rich L, Karl, Mark and Denise. Good riding conditions today, blustery but warmed up nicely through the morning.
Set off at a good pace easing passed the club amblers group as we approached Talbot Green. Good group ride with everyone taking turns into the wind on the way out. Largely followed the route as planned which is challenging when not everyone has looked at the route. There were a few detours en route, Karl attempting to lead the group down a dead end road into a field at one point, while I happily followed my route. And a later detour for Rich and Karl to avoid the hill out of Porthkerry Park.
Good coffee stop in Romilly for coffee and cake, good selection of cake. There is a good choice of cafe in Romilly, we should stop there more often.
Good pace home too which left me hanging on at times. See you all again next Sunday.
