Ok so  before the ride report goes up lets explain, pacers 100mile ride (not winter pace) up into the beacons on the gravel bike was a mistake. Never changed gear gear so much on a ride ever!!!. Rob mentioned it was hard work for the ride to the end of harbour way for just 18.5 average....well glad to hear I was blowing hard!!!. A great ride  today but im totally shattered thanks to the Garw boys for dragging me home. Time for a nice soak in the bath.....

good turn out this morning though we couldn't get anyone else to join our ride.
3 of us out
me -mix and match kit  8) looking like I could deliver some milk tray
Rob C -full assos kit
Nigel - dripping in castelli kit

while the weather was looking good thought we could sneak in a ride before winter kicks in, and think of it as training for Bethlehem.
steady pace out to port talbot where my definition of steady was different to rob and Nigel.
backed off the pace up to Ystradgynlais where we were riding into cross winds. Onto the Crai where we hardly passed any cars.
stopped at the international house of Rarebit where we all had coffee, rarebit and cake.

way back we went along the Crai towards dan yr ogof at a leisurely pace where me and rob were doing our best Froome impression on the downhill sections Full tuck
Nigel dropped off by neath not far behind where me and rob waited on the roundabout where we could see Nigel wishing we had carried on.
2 of us worked together on the way back to help Nigel. where we turned off at Margam.

Next week a lower mileage ride. and still 9am start.
