just 3 out today, me Paul R and Rob C. All with shake dry jackets and overshoes in fact Rob had Dave's wellies on. Due to the wind we decided to head west going park slip,Margam where about 10 amazon vans past us on through Port Talbot to Tai Bach then up the Afan valley turning off for Cimla. We then headed into Swansea and on to Mumbles with coffee and tea cake stop in Bracelet. Just over 40 miles to this point but so far no rain.
The return leg was the standard route back via Harbour way making use of the side wind and tail wind to get back up on the average speed. Through Swansea we had cars pulling out of junctions on to us nearly knocking all 3 of us off and an idiot that over took the single file of cyclists on the dual carriage way only to in on us and slam his brakes on....some idiots out there. Anyway all made it back home safe and no rain but we were all soak with sweat. Good ride out thanks all.
