Only six of us out this morning, nice to see Alan and Chappers back after a long festive break. Nice and social riding with the chasers to Bryncethin which a very therapeutic, once we got rid of the rabble we set off to Maesteg to climb over Bryn. After that Alan decided his legs didnt have enough for another 50 miles to headed back home via Port Talbot, We carried on to Pontrhydyfen to climb over to Cimla, pace crept up after this as we headed for Tonna which was surprisingly lumpy.
Desperate for coffee we headed for Porthcawl into a strong headwind. Nigel, Paul R, Gregg, Chappers and myself all worked really well together doing short turns into the wind which was really tough, then a well deserved coffee at Coffi and co, on the harbour in Porthcawl. We chilled on the way back to Bridgend as the headwind had took its toll!
Every ride we seem to improve on working as a group and sharing the work load and long may it continue!
thanks for a really good ride
