A respectable crowd of Chasers mixed in with a sprinkling of Pacers set off from Brackla and picking up another 2 in Bryncethin made for a decent sized group of 14.
A good pace was maintained across the common to Pencoed and exiting Llanharan we all presumed that one of the group had been shot. Luckily for the rest of the group it was only Craig puncturing - fortunate for him that he wasn't going faster at the time and more fortunate for the rest of the group that it gave us a 10 minute rest in the shade.
From there the elastic in the group stretched a little and unfortunately we lost Terry, Steve and Paul en route. A late coffee stop in Costa in Cowbridge before heading for home with a total distance of 48 miles.
Out today were Tony, Terry, Nick, Steve, Craig, Paul, Mark, Andy, Dan, Neil, Lee, Allan, Jonathan and myself.
