Smaller group this week of 10-15. Good solid warm up, 35.2 for 500m (I'm blaming yesterdays commute in Z3 for this). 96 laps on the black line 33.05 quite slow to begin with I was unsure how this was going to pan out and tried to accommodate a mixed group of riders, scrapped that plan as soon as it was obvious that no one else was going to be so kind! Tried to get 5 laps in every time I was at the front to make sure I achieved my goal of knackering myself up. Smashed out a couple of fast laps on the cool down then back home for a PHD protein bar which to my despair has not delivered the toned abs as advertised.

Took my Garmin with me this week just to see how hard I'm working at these session, I've posted it all on Strava. The breakdown on my Garmin showed that most of the time was spent in Zone 2 for me but it feels a bit more of an effort than that at the time! I reckon it must be top end Zone 2. Will have to get to some chain gang to see how it compares.

No track next Wednesday as I'm off to Maindy in the evening, if I have still got my race legs on a visit to the velodrome on Thursday night might be in order.
