We all set off from Brackla to Llangeinor and just about stayed as a group. 7 of us rode the hill climb. (Please see website for results)
After the hill climb 2 groups formed on the road, the slower group took a short cut upto Lanharren, then onto Cowbridge where all of us met for a coffee in Costa. After the Coffee stop the faster group set off around the Coast and Tammy Chris G and myself took the ridge road back to Bridgend.

We will start with the Chasers Sunday Ride too at 9:30 and ride over to the Hill Climb in Llangeinor. £3 to take part front and rear lights required. The Social ride will follow the same route as the chasers afterwards but quite likely not together.
Heol y Cyw common Pencoed - Pontyclun - Cowbridge and around the coast. Coffee stop to be decided.

4 out this morning Richard B, Tammy, Chris G and Myself. We mainly stuck to the proposed route with a couple of modifications. We changed the coffee stop to the Tea Rooms in Ogmore by Sea. (I think that’s the correct name) after some disgruntled murmurings within the group about the amount of miles before a coffee stop. This gave Chris Goodwin the opportunity to give our bikes a once over and order some adjustments that met his approval. Very Generous of Chris to get the coffee and cake in thanks once more. A nice autumn social, around 50 miles. See you all next week for the hill climb.

Brackla - Coity - Bryncethin - Sarn - Park Slip - A48 - Water Street- Porthcawl - West Park Drive - around the sea front - Three Steps Hill - A48 - New Inn Rd - Ewenny - Ogmore By Sea onto the Wick Road - Marcross - Llantwit Major Cafe stop. Back through Welsh St Donets Wick Ewenny.

I have a day off on Tuesday so looking to get a few miles in. Will be riding the old mid week route leaving B&Q roundabout at 0945. All welcome.

Ben, Aaron,Tammy,Lee, Tudor and Myself left Brackla. Lee decided to have a brief spin with the pacers and told us he would wait for us at the turning before Llantrisant forest. We meet Chris G at Llanharan. Continued the route with seven people and had the planned coffe stop at Bryngarw House. After the Coffee stop Ben and Chris peeled off, and the rest of us carried on. Tammy had a slow puncture so Lee and Tammy continued on to get back to Bridgend before the tyre went down.
Enjoyed the ride and the company Tudor did very well in the hills, Ben a Strong rider who maybe better suited to the Chaser, but Aaron wow 2600 feet of Climbing On a Hybrid Bike with a cage, 3 locks and a bike horn. Well done.
Hope to see Ben and Aaron again.
I’m not here next week so someone please post a route.

The weather looks good on Sunday here is the route,
Brackla-Coychurch-Penceod-Bynna-Llanharen-Pontyclun. Up the lane toward the forestry onto Gilfach Goch-Blackmill. Over Llangeinor mountain. Llangeinor- Brymenyn - Bryngarw House for a coffee. Tondu Aberkenfig - Park Slip - down Heol-Y-Glo A48 Turn left - Left again at Pont George Road- upto Kenfig Hill - Waubant Road - Through the lanes across Rogers lane- Court Colman - Pen y Fai - Home
Estimated 42.6 miles all welcome at the pace of the slowest rider.

My self and new club member Tudor started from Brackla and meet Chris Goodwin just after Llangan. The three of us rode a modified route. Cafe stop at the Velo Cafe. Weather held out and turned out to be a nice sunny ride. 43 miles for me. See you next week.

Brackla - B&Q roundabout- Troes - Llangan - Graig Penllyn - City - Welsh St Donats - Hensol Woods - Peterson-Super-Ely - St George’s- A48 for about 500 yards then left towards Dyfryn Gardens for a coffee.
Homeward Dyffryn - Llancarfan - Pancross- Llancadle St Athan - Llantwit Major - Wick road home
Should be just over 40 miles. Weather looks better than forecast look damp. All welcome we will ride at the pace of the slowest rider.
