No changes are being made! We already have a Twitter account, my question was who is running the account to give them a nudge to celebrate what people are doing, and archiving in the club, which attracts more views, and more visits to the website, which will lead to potential new members.
Nobody would no your location Ron! posting results and information about club runs and events coming up is what I'm talking about.

Im sure the question has already been answered about who can read, and have access to the forum.

Andy, you would just copy the link to twitter just as you would with the forum.

Need to get with the times Ron  ;) Most cyclists these days have a smart phone and are using things like Strava, Instagram and Twitter to share rides and communicate. The club has nearly 600 followers on Twitter and it’s not being used! Other clubs that use the platform are growing and our numbers to me seem like they are going down.

Don’t want to open a can of worms on here but if the club wants to grow or attract new members to replace the ones that have left we need to do more.

Who is currently looking after the clubs Twitter account? No activity in over a year, with Adrian having some good results and members involved in other events it would be good to have a bit more activity. Happy to take it over if whoever is doing it wants to hand it over

David Bees has kindly given us a free entry into the 12 hour event at Carmarthen velodrome this Saturday 29th June. A team of 4 is needed and we currently have 3, Harpo, Paul Nicholas and myself. The event runs from 9am - 9pm with 1 rider from each team on the track at the same time. Its on road bikes so no track bike or track skills needed. Each team member will spend around 30mins on the track and then come off for the next rider, or if your feeling strong and going well you can stay on for an hour.

We need to find the 4th member pretty quickly so if your interested or need more info please leave a message or get in touch with Harpo or myself.

Great report Alan, very honoured to win Harpo’s very precious polka dot top! Got a few strange looks on the way back from the cafe, but a couple of kids at the traffic lights in Pencoed commented on how good it looked.  8)

Long shot i know  :) but if there is anyone in the club the same size as me, or has kids into cycling, i have some old club kit that i am giving away to a good home. 1 x shorts, 1 x jersey s/s 1 x jersey l/s, 1 x gilet, 1 x winter tights.  All in good used condition, all size small. Let me know if anyone is interested.
