Another PB for me by 1 second. Just goes to show that marginal gains do work; my wife bought me a pair of aero gloves for my birthday!! Perhaps balanced by my overshoe zip undoing . And that with a dead stop at the roundabout which beats last weeks chain off incident.
Not sure what others thought; I thought it would be an easy fast night with a tailwind back seemed tougher than usual?
-
Yeah slow night - I felt fast and lost 1min 4sec over last week - thus I rode off in a huff 😭
-
I also rode off in a huff (1.5 mins slower than last time :-[ ) - just probably did a better job of hiding it .... haha

That course is unusual. I think it is faster with a southwesterly breeze than with no wind at all. The breeze from behind helps you over the steep stuff at the beginning and enables you to keep momentum after to the turn. Then on the way back you get a bit of shelter from the hedges.
