Sunday is the first of this year's Reliability Rides, the amended RR1 course can be found on the website and the forum entry for RELIABLITY RIDES 2015.
There are two time options for the ride:-
3.5 hours (14.2 mph average) Starting at 8.30 am
3 hours (16.6 mph average) Starting at 9.00 am
Please be at Brackla AT LEAST 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR CHOSEN START TIME
I will be taking a gentle ride around part of the course, 'back to front'. If there are any newbies, beginners or 25ers not wanting to do the RR1, please join me. It will be an easy pace, approx. 25 miles in total, with café stop at Hannah's diner (16 miles)
p.s. I need to get to Hannah's diner by 11.30, so as long as you can manage 7 miles an hour you'll be fine!
-
I hope to start at 8.30 for a time of 3. 5 hours, who else is starting at 8 30? Please put your name to this list for all times, 3 hours or 3.5 hours.

Ron
After last Sunday I have decided I am not yet up to 50 miles in Winter starting at 8.30 with an 8.15 sign - on, so may be joining Andy at 9.00am. Getting into training for Mallorca by socialising on the road ! A cafe solo, with a Welsh cake I think.

I'll be starting at 8.30 Ron, haven't been out for two weeks so I'll have a nice steady ride.
-
Nice an easy eh, but no Tim, you could come around then meet Andy and go with him to the café?
-
No cycling for me this morning. Started pedalling to start and got frost nip in my fingers. Not the kind of pain you need at 0830 on a Sunday morning!! Have a good one everybody.
-
A total of 25 starters for RR1, today. 6 on the 3 1/2 hour option and 19 on the 3 hour ride
3 DNFs
16 DQ's (15 on time and 1 on time & course management)
6 QUALIFIERS
Well done to all, after a cold start turned out to be a nice day to be out on the bike!!
-
Looked to me like everyone had a good time. Thanks to Andy for organising/timekeeping and sacrificing your own ride!(the dq for course management is intriguing! One for the club dinner?)
-
Yes big thanks to Andy.
-
Yeah great ride, thanks Andy, looks like I will be having a mention in the club dinner!!
-
Yes thanks to Andy for his time today and his Photo taking of the ride. Great ride today in perfect weather. Thanks to all the group i was with we Chainganged text bocked around the route
-
Thanks Andy; didn't seem quite as hard as last year? Perhaps because there were some hills to soften us up?
Think I prefer that route to the Seath Valley one.
-
Thanks to Andy for organising and Andy, Lance, Roy & Wayne for the ride.
-
Thanks Andy. Apart from a chilly start the weather could not have been better. The Corntown to Wick killer sections were brutal but the cooked breakfast made it all worthwhile...!
-
Nice ride yesterday, It got a bit carried away for the first 30, blame it on the cold. too much to hope that the weather continues for the next two rides. Do we have some names for the results Andy? Wayne's gang were all sweating a bit when they turned up, could it be too much lycra? So on we go and thoughts are turning to Port Talbots 25 4 up (man) team time trial, we now have time to sort out a few teams after yesterdays turnout.
-
I can't remember the 6 qualifiers, will check when I get home and post later.
I will endeavour to get some people to commit to the 4 up TT.
It's on Thursday 18th June, put the date in your diaries and don't play 'dumb' when you get asked
to make up a team!! ;)
