You will be aware that the club dinner is on Friday 14th November at the Bear Hotel, Cowbridge. 7pm for 7.30pm. Guest of honour this year is Pro racer and local boy Rhys Lloyd. Tickets are now on sale at £31. (actually, they are virtual tickets because I will know you are attending!). Ways to pay;
Cash or cheque (Payable to Ogmore Valley Wheelers) to Clifton House, Treoes, Bridgend. CF35 5DH or to Mary at club night. Please put the names of those attending on the back on the cheque or with the cash.
I will issue a menu nearer the time....

I,m driving on Friday if anyone from the Brackla area or on route would like a lift to or from the dinner.

There are a few of us going from Brackla.Paul L has offered to drive and share a taxi back-I don't want to speak for Paul but I think he was planning to give me,Andy Storrie Richard Bowmer and Alison a lift over.I think as there'd be 5 passengers in the taxi we anticipated having to hire a large taxi/minibus so if you don't want to drive back you could probably get back with us.I expect there will be others going over fom Brackla too.If it makes it easier for Paul 1 or more of us could come over with you-not sure exactly where you are in Brackla.I'm off Churchacre(Hollyhock Drive)Andy is off Channel View and Richard and Alison are on the new Estate off Tremains Road-what't nearest for you?My landline has just been fixed after over a week if it's easier to ring-646576

I've have been to quite a lot of club dinners over the years, and this was one of my favourites.
Wonderful turn out with so many awards being handed out. Guest speaker had some great stories to relay. Organisation was second to none.
(Hats off to The Bear for the delicious food)
