Many thanks to all who rode and helped. This is a record number of competitors in this event since 1962 and the first time for us to use this particular hill. Congratulations to Mark Rosser in winning the N M James cup and Neil Poulton for "winning" Tim's red light. Has mentioned awards will be presented at the clubs annual dinner in the Bear Hotel, Cowbridge, on Friday 14th November 2014. Please contact Steven Madeley for tickets. This is a cracking evening where you can be insulted as well as win trophies. lol.

Big thanks to all involved, fantastic to see such a good turnout.
First 'hill climb' for me, won't be sorry if its the last. Felt horrible afterwards, just about recovered. Amazing what a can of Strongbow can do for recovery!

Well done mark rosser the diet is obviously paying dividends
-
Yes thanks to all who help named above. Enjoyed and well done for ordering the sunshine.
-
Thanks to all the Marshalls and helpers for allowing me to cause myself so much pain and suffering - I think..... ;)

Fantastic to see so many riders all in one place and well done to all the hill climbers.
Pictures will be up on the website very soon - there were so many, I had to put up four separate galleries and they are taking a bit of time to upload.
Pictures from the top of the hill courtesy of Stephen Chapman.
Finally loaded - scroll down to the bottom of the Gallery page

Sorry to put a bit of a dampener on the event, :( but it has been brought to my attention that Neil Poulton is not actually a member of OVW and therefore does not qualify for the lantern rouge award. Sorry to have raised your hopes Neil. So it seems that the award will go to Roy Holdham. who hopefully is a member. Can you please confirm this for me. Cheers.

Roy is 100% Oggie 8)

Thats right i haven't joined yet , hopefully i will on Friday.
Neil.
-
Phew-that was a narrow escape Neil!
-
With Neil now joining couldn't his membership be back dated?
I know he would be devastated to lose this over a small technicality :P

Well done everyone and such a high turnout, couldn't be there myself I was representing the club in the Slovenian cream cake competition. Nice to see a 25er picking up a trophy, which ever one it turns out to be?
