Steven Madeley very kindly thanked all who turn out on a regular basis to run these events and I would like to second that. Without these guys, who we depend on,week after week, these events would not be run so smoothly.
See you all for the hillclimb.

Sorry to read that Will,hope you're ok-probably baulked by Richard going too slowly?

TTTs very hazardous...particularly on a lumpy course. Need to concentrate 100% even when suffering 100%.
Hope you OK Will

Thanks everyone
Only bruised pride for Will I think as the grass verge broke his fall
The 'Beech red mist' had come down on both of us and probably trying too hard

There are signs still at the "Turn" in Llantwit can someone pick them up if they are passing. Thanks, they would not fit in my club jersey when I rode past today, perhaps we can have bigger pockets on the new kit.

Well done guys (and it was only guys who rode the event this year) for competing so enthusiastically in the 'What do you think you're on - Speed Competition'
The three category winners as picked out of a hat by Mrs Raine this morning are;
Steven Madeley - Superfast TT Bike
Lance Lewis - Single Speed Beach Bike with Wine Carrier and
Tony Mansell - Electric Bike. Setting a Course Record for this machine at 32.12
Each of these winners will now be entitled to receive a prize to be presented at the Roadmans Night Out (mid-October, date to be announced) to be held at the Red Fox Penllyn.
The prizes are to be donated by other Club Members and are to be 'much loved but no longer required cycling memorabilia'.
There is now a challenge set to all club members to come up with something suitable for these three winners. The more prizes the better. It does not have to be one prize per winner.
So members, get digging in your garages, bedroom cupboards and trophy cases ! to see what you have and either bring it along on the night (preferred - so you can give a little history to the item) or bring it to me in club on a Friday and let me have the story behind it.
The Roadmans Night Out is the end-of- season informal bash. It will start at about 7.00pm with food at about 7.30 and a few beers later at the bar for those not wanting to eat (really you should not miss the Foxyburger !). No tickets are issued, simply come along and enjoy your club mates company. Retro cycling gear is recommended wear but otherwise it is casual. Old posters and flags are allowed to give the dining room some cycling atmosphere, so bring those too.
