Apologies from Will John who had to attend a lifeguards exam. Hope that went well.
I hope that people can see how the handicap works now. You only have to look at how close the times were to agree that Norman did an excellent job of the handicapping. Unfortunately getting caught out by newbie Lance who did not have a racing time to give us. You were better than we thought. Well done. Also apologies from Claire Hiett, unable to ride due to injury.
Huge thanks go to:-

Gents/Ladies,my apologies as I was really embarrassed by the amount of minutes I was given last evening which enabled me to get the best overall handicap time.I was however delighted with my first ever 10 tt time 28.04 on my 26 year old steel Raleigh 653 (although Strava did give me 27.55)
The real truth of the matter was I was soundly thrashed by 5 minutes by some real cyclists on some serious tt bikes.Well done to everyone that entered and organised the event and many thanks for the friendly welcoming reception.
I do intend to build a tt bike over the winter(steel of course) and have another go next season.

Glad you enjoyed it Lance and pleased to hear that you found us welcoming. There is one final event of the season on the same course next Thursday, where club members are encouraged to ride a "silly bike". Last year one of our riders put together and then rode on a Brompton. Hope we see you again. Also on the 21st September,at 10.00am, the absolute final of the club events is a hill climb of 1.5 miles, taking place in LLangeinor. The course is as follows:- Start at lay-by on A4093 just east of the junction with A4064. Proceed eastwards up the hill, around the double bend to finish at crossroads with minor road to LLanginor Arms.

It was very remiss of me and I do apologise to Kevin. who was there last night taking photographs of the riders. Could you let us know how we can view and/or purchase please. Regards, Lynne.

Looking forward to the hill climb, although it's probably about 1.4 miles too long for me!
