Looking like a westerly on Sunday so we’ll head out west again and do the loop around Alltwen Glais and Birchgrove. Around 60 miles again with coffee stop in Neath, probably Costa unless anyone is able to recommend somewhere else. Largely flat, with just some short climbs, Three Steps, the drag up to Rhos and the Drummau Road climb.

Apologies for the late report. Eight of us set out from Physique on Sunday in gloomy conditions although it did brighten up at times later. The eight were me, Rich L, Mark, Chris, Paul,Nigel, Scott and Andy, with no takers for Andy’s social ride. Scott and Andy just rode to Briton Ferry and back. There was a lot of water on the road in places, especially on the stretch between Kenfig and Margam and later between Alltwen and Glais. Another enjoyable group ride with the coffee stop as planned in Costa in Neath, strong turns on the way out from Nigel with Mark and Rich L then controlling things on the front for a sensible pace home.
