Blwyddyn Newydd Dda pawb
Here’s the route for Sunday. Out to Church Village and Taff’s Well and up to Pentyrch, across to Pontyclun and Cowbridge and home around the coast. Around 53miles with coffee stop after about 32 miles in the Hare and Hounds in Cowbridge.

Weather looking for Sunday, bright and just a bit chilly. See you all Sunday.

Hi,
I’m a prospective new member. Would it be ok to join you for this ride?
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom. Yes, that will be fine. It's a 9:30 start from the car park in-front of what was Physiques in Brackla. Look on Google Maps for the Banana Moon Day Nursery, and it's the same carpark. Hope to see you there.

Good turnout today for what ended up as a mixed pacers chasers ride, always my favourite. 12 of us set out from Physique, I hope I can remember everyone! Me, Rich L, Karl, Carl, Scott, Chris, Paul, Mark, Nigel, Rob, the Darlington CC Hill Climb champion (I’m sure he regrets telling me already) Steven on a flying visit from Yarm and a big welcome to newbie Tom Price. I hope Tom enjoyed and we see him again.
Largely followed the route as planned. We did cut out the loop to Beddau for reasons of safety which did please a number of the group and we also cut out the lanes on the way home in case there was any residual flooding.
Good group ride all morning, the group only breaking up a bit on the significant climbs and notably the one up to Pentyrch. Good to be on some roads a few of us have not ridden for a while. Stopped for coffee in Cowbridge but ended up in Costa as the Hare and Hounds was busy.
And then the ride for home. Chris Left us for an early shower. And, we quickly lost Rob who was clearly in a hurry. He was followed by a small posse who did eventually sit up for the rest of us. Through Wick and round the coast and then we were home.
Thanks all, enjoyed, see you all again next Sunday.
