Wow, what a remarkable turnout for the 1st event of the year. Fantastic to see so many. Shame about the bit of welsh dew just before we started, but at least it stopped by the time the event was underway. Roads were wet leading to some soggy bottoms, and cooler than expected. We had the experience of no less than five clubs turning out. So well done to all.

Some awesome early season performances and what an entry.
It reminds me of those fields when the Ogmore ran a midweek on the R10/10.

That is a very impressive amount of riders.
Well done to those who rode the course for the first time. You now have a time to chase.
And of course congrats to the PB'ers

Excellent turnout for the first event, now are we going to progress to open events. Would be nice to see more Oggies in the local 10 mile TT's and the Welsh TT on the Raglan course. Check out the calendar for dates, if you want any advice just ask on this site. A good little money earner for the club, must have been the flags?

Suggest we start parking about 200 metres down the Marcross road. It's wide enough, safe and traffic free.

Thanks to all involved in the organisation of Thursdays first midweek. Good for the clubs coffers, but no doubt an additional stress with so many riders turning up.
Would be great to rope of those riders in as second claims

Especially May and Wilson! ;D But what surprised me was just how many oggies were there. Surely the most for some time and on a wet evening too. The club is expanding rapidly amd becoming more active for a number of reasons I think...the future looks bright!

Yes as you say a fantastic turnout. It was a bit stressful for Norman, signing on, taking levi,s and trying to place the field. He got to push me off with 30 seconds to go. Some extra hands on deck would be most welcome.

Thanks to all who made it happen, really appreciate x

I did say to Norman on Thursday that I would be happy to help out in future weeks. I've entered my first open event on 17 May so I'd like to ride the first 3 Thursdays and I will then be available to help. Hope that is ok.

I'll come over to help out on the 8th May.
